Chinese Fried Rice
Duration: 40 minutes
Ingredients
- 1 ½ cups water
- 2 cups rice
- 2 tbsps. oil
- 2 eggs ( beaten)
- 2/3 cups cabbage (chopped)
- 2/3 cups carrot (chopped)
- ½ tsp. pepper powder
- 1 tsp. chicken powder
- 1 tsp. sugar
- ¾ cup green onion (chopped)
- 1 tsp. sesame oil
- Salt
Directions
- Pour some water in a pan. Add in rice and salt. Stir and let it boil. Rinse water after boiling.
- In a separate pan, add in oil and eggs. Scramble the eggs in the pan.
- Now add cabbage and carrot in the pan. Mix well. Add in pre-boiled rice. Mix everything together.
- Sprinkle chicken powder, sugar, salt and green onion. Mix everything together. Add sesame oil to the rice and mix again. Cover the lid and let it cook on slow flame.
- Serve and enjoy!
